Even if you'd prefer a quiet week in the caravan, and have no intentions of travelling anywhere then those staying in caravans can benefit from an enclosed garden and if you're staying in the Pods or Bell Tent then there's a large open field where dogs can be let off lead for a run around if they're supervised

Howgills Hideaway is perfecly suited for dog owners. Not only are dogs welcome throughout the site, but there's a huge variety of dog walking options for you and your canine companion. When we visited Howgills, we stayed in their luxury two-bedroom caravans that can hold up to 4 people. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom that's complete with shower, sink and toilet. The kitchenette features a proper oven, fridge and cupboards that contain anything you could need. There's a sitting room with ample seating, freesat tv and lots of board games, books and DVDs.  And don't worry if you forgot to bring milk, because you'll find a complimentary tea tray with everything you need to make yourself a proper cuppa, the minute you walk through the door.

Spacious and comfortable beds, with useful storage.

Beautiful scenic views from the window.

Surrounded by wildlife, a birdwatchers paradise

As the site is located on a working farm, you may come across various livestock so it is more important than ever to ensure that you keep your dogs under complete control.

If you're not 100% certain that you can keep your dogs completely under control, then keep them on a lead at all times.
